IDEAL FOR COCKTAILS, TURNS A CLASSIC DAIQUIRI

INTO A DELIGHTFUL JAMAICAN DAIQUIRI

APPLETON ESTATE SIGNATURE

Appleton Estate Signature Blend is a ‘blended rum’, which means it is a combination of several rums of different styles and ages and does not have an age statement

Appleton Estate is authentic Jamaican rum that is made in the Cockpit Country – a unique, lush and fertile terrain that is nestled inland, in Jamaica’s beating heart, the Nassau Valley.

Appleton Estate has the distinction of being the oldest sugar estate and distillery in Jamaica in continuous production, crafting this delicious rum with the warmth, passion and unique spirit of Jamaica for more than 265 years. The first known documentation of rum production on the Appleton Estate is dated 1749. However, it is believed that the origins of the Estate date back to Sir Francis Dickenson in 1655.

The key elements that create Appleton Estate’s Rums are the sugarcane, grown on the estate, the limestone spring that supplies the water and the maturation containers, 40-gallon Number One Select American Oak barrels, which impart more vanilla flavour and make the rum smoother and less woody. Appleton Estate rum is perfected by Master Blender, Joy Spence, the first woman to be appointed Master Blender in the world.

For standard ferments they use proprietary yeast and temp controlled fermentation for 36 hours and distill both in column and double retort pot still, blending the 2; they also produce higher-ester marks at New Yarmouth (other property distillery where Wray & Nephew is produced)
