First new recipe created at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in 150 years, JD Rye has a 70% of rye (18%corn 12% malted barley) and uses the same production methods used for JD (sour mash, Lincoln County process, spring water from the limestone cave, new oak barrels maturation)

TASTING NOTES

Appearance | Clear, medium intensity


Color | Gold amber


Aroma | Fried banana, hot chocolate and a hint of toasted grain


Taste | Dried cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by more chocolatey notes. A touch of cooked apple appears later on
