Fernet Branca

Fernet Branca is the best selling Italian Amaro in the World and is mainly drunk as a digestif, in cocktails or with Cola if you’re in Argentina.

The secret family recipe, unchanged since its creation, consists of more than 27 herbs and spices, including myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom, aloe, and saffron, with a base of grape distilled spirits, and colored with caramel coloring and aged for a year in Slovenian oak vats.

Originally created in Milan back in 1845, to help against several health complaints and diseases (among which cholera), this is the star product of the Branca family and its company that also produces a sweeter and minty variant (Branca Menta), the Carpano vermouth range and Caffé Borghetti.
